Velo Kids Community Rides
Velo Kids Community Rides are free, biweekly bike events and they're for everyone!
We believe in fostering community, diversity, and health. Our mission at Velo Kids is to get all kids on bikes, so come ride with us!
NEW Velo Kids WEBSITE COMING SOON!
2022 BIKE CAMP REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MONDAY, JANUARY 31, 2022
2022 Junior Velo REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN FEBRUARY, 2022
How it Works
You bring the kids (recommended ages 2-10), bikes, and helmets. We'll provide the rest.
Rides Include
Bike skill courses including ramps and obstacles
Ice cream or popsicle treats post-ride
Free Velo Kids tech tee earned on their 3rd ride
Trained coaching staff teaching bike safety and skills curriculum
We are asking that parents do not ride during the regular Community Rides. To keep our rides as safe and educational as possible, we want to keep group sizes small (10 kids per two coaches. Parents are welcome to watch from a distance or bike/walk out on the course and cheer on your kiddos.
We have a lot of exciting kid-centric rides planned for this summer. All families are welcome! Check out our scheduled events and get in touch with us for more details.
