Cost 

  • With a Standard or Overhaul tune up: Buy two new chains and pay $40 for stripping and waxing of both chains (this means one chain is getting waxed free of charge). For subsequence visits, you get a quick swap and pay $40.

  • Without full tune: Drivetrain cleaning - $105 includes cleaning drivetrain and waxing two chains (this means one chain is getting waxed free of charge). So buy 2 chains plus $105, and then for every subsequent visit, you get a quick swap and pay $40.


Waxing includes - Stripping process, chain waxing, wax, and installation

Does not include - Chain quick link 

**** DO NOT LUBE YOUR CHAIN WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN SILCA SUPER SECRET LUBE - This will make the chain non-viable for further wax treatment and require a drivetrain clean before a new waxed chain can be installed****


Recommended intervals between chain swaps 

  • On average you should see between 250 and 600 miles on a waxed chain. Riding conditions will play a big factor in mileage. In wet conditions, you will see less mileage. 

  • Post-ride wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove any dirt from the outside of the chain (optional)

  • Silca Super Secret Drip Lube can be added to the chain as needed (optional)

    • Can extend wax service intervals and chain life 

    • Apply when ridden in unfavorable conditions
