Who We Are
We are a group of riders, racers, tourists, commuters, cruisers, off-roaders, ‘cross racers, roadies, triathletes, sport riders, athletes, musicians, teachers, students, parents, children, trail advocates….in short – a small buncha folks that have been brought together by their love of the bicycle and what it can mean to an individual’s life, a city’s well-being and our planet’s future.
We believe in the Power Of The Bike – we’ve seen it save lives, bring hope, cause outbreaks of what the West Mich JDRF Ride Team calls “BikeFace” (more on that elsewhere) and we are dedicated to sharing that joy with you.
You’ll find lots of cool stuff here – some expensive, some not-so-much…but none of it sullied by the “bike snobbery” that all too often accompanies fine equipment. You’ll also find the shop to be a doorway- a portal if you will – that will lead you into an entire world of cycling. We see it as our task to help you become whatever it is you want to be on a bike – whether that’s to ride around the block or around the world.
So – stop on by, we’re more than a place to buy stuff! This is the place to hang out, hear about the next crazy ride, big tour, new race or great new trail. The place to meet like-minded folk that may well become your new best riding buds. The place to enjoy a cookie (if you time it right!), an indoor workout, a yoga class or one of our many weekly rides.
And, at some point you might discover that our shop oughta be your shop……and how could that be a bad thing?
