You’ll see brands here that you don’t see everywhere and that’s because doin’ it this way is more work, but that’s okay by us ‘cuz it gives us the type of product mix that we can believe in and get behind. We use the stuff we stock and stock the stuff we use. Pretty simple really.

Bikes and frames:
Cannondale - Our main line and the only bike company that’s been here since Day One. We believe that Cannondale offers more technology, more value and flat-out better bikes in nearly every catagory. Many of the technological innovations adopted by other manufacturers that have become industry standards were developed by C-Dale’s engineers. Better frames make better bikes and Cannondale makes better frames! Some of the  C-Dale’s are handbuilt in Bedford PA, the rest overseas. (www.cannondale.com)

Seven Cycles – Located just outside of Boston & the largest custom frame builder in the world,  Seven is a young company /w a long history (much like Velo City!) and they will stop at nothing to build you the perfect frame. They’ve been redefining the meaning of the word “custom” for years now – it’s not fit, it’s not paint, it’s certainly not parts! Co-Motion – the coolest tandems in the biz! Hand-built in Eugene Oregon and designed to be fun and fast! Check out the Perescope models – the industry’s only viable “family” tandems. Electra – This little company from California set the bike biz on it’s collective ear 5 years ago w/ the Townie…the coolest and comfiest cruiser to ever hit the bike path! Great designs, awesome colors, high quality parts and that super-comforting “Flat Foot Technology” design seperates the Electras from their many imitators. Test ride one and see why! Built in Taiwan. Gunnar – Hand made steel goodness from the heartland! Gunnars are likely the best value in a hand-built custom-quality steel frameset. Road, mountain, ‘cross…….they do them all. Simple, clean classic designs, well executed over in Waterford Wisconsin. (www.gunnarbikes.com)

Redline – The big name in cyclo-cross and they make some sweet ATB’s too. We’re mostly interested in their ‘cross bikes but they also have a sweet fixxie/singlespeed road rig! They are all made in China. (www.redlinebicycles.com)

Surly – Good honest well designed and way affordable steel frames and bikes! There is nothing dumb on these frames! Room for fatter tires, mounts for racks and fenders…….there’s a Surly for pretty much every use and we can build one up for you however you want it. Salsa – These guys make some cool frames! Based in Minnesota there’s a Salsa frame for everything from off road racing to wandering all over the world! The Cassaroll fixxie roadster is a stafff fav and let’s face it…they have the coolest model names in the biz! Mamasita? Ala Carte? El Mariachi? C’mon! Made in Taiwan.(www.salsacycles.com)

Macatawa Bike Works – Our own lil’ frame company! Designed in house and built for us by the folks over @ Waterford. To date there is but one model in the line…..the Sofa King single speed/fixed gear road frame. Made of good ol’ chrome moly steel and built around long reach brakes MC rode more miles in more conditions on his MBW fixxie in 2008 than all his other bikes combined! Come and see why.
