MC - our Mayor. Oldest person on the staff and has ridden the most miles on the most bikes. Lives near downtown Holland with soulmate Lin, and 4-leggers Max and Emeila. Father of Katie and Sam, musician, avid but fundamentally unsuccessful bike-racer, coach of the Michigan JDRF team and also serves as JDRF’s Co-National Head Coach, working w/ riders all over the country and attending every JDRF Ride in one capacity or another. Determined to dis-prove the “Bike Shop owners never ride” myth. Claims to be able to play the banjo while riding rollers. Currently the State ‘Cross Champion in the 50+ C class, which just means that he’ll hafta go up a class in 2010! Has gotten used to talking about himslef in the 3rd person thanks to Facebook but still somewhat weirded out about it.
