We first met Kaat about 16 months ago when she showed up for a November night ride. At that time she was b-a-r-e-l-y a cyclist a’tall but since then she has purchased 4 bikes, ridden at least 15 centuries, raced (and often placed) in the Pando 12 Hour, Barry-Roubaix, State Cyclo-Cross championships, Fisk Knob, Lumberjack 100, Grattan Race Series and plenty more. She’s also a member of the Michigan JDRF Team and will be riding in Death Valley in Oct. Needless to say – she’s come a long way! She makes the trip from GR at least 5 days a week to ride or work so she’s here a lot.
